At a special conference in Barcelona, preceding MWC 2019, Huawei announced the premiere of three new laptop models. These units are part of the common Huawei Share ecosystem, which is to help build a coherent business and entertainment platform, based on the simultaneous involvement of the Huawei laptop and smartphone.

One could say that Huawei wants a laptop and a smartphone to be able to complement each other. It is no longer just about the exchange of data, but also, and perhaps above all, the development of the functionality accompanying this process.

Having one of the new Huawei notebooks and the phone of this brand with the NFC and EMUI 9 module.0 or newer, just touch the laptop working panel smartphone to initiate multimedia files transmission. At the same time, if it is done by displaying a photo from the gallery on the smartphone, the photo will be sent to the computer disk.Otherwise, the smartphone will download a screen projection (from a PC) and pull out key data from it, including a text in a form that allows editing,

Here, an extremely wide room for maneuver opens, which the manufacturer illustrated on the example of work in PowerPoint.First, he used the Onehop function, like a solution that allows you to send photos to a computer to complement the missing photo. Then, analyzing the contents of the drop, he sent a modified PPT file to the internal memory of the phone.

And this is not the end, because the puzzle is completed by a common storage space. In other words: text and files copied on one device, can be pasted on the other.

The manufacturer sees it so that today's user works on both a laptop and smartphone. Some things are more convenient for him to do on a laptop, some - on a smartphone. The fusion of these devices makes us receive the most convenient possible environment for work and entertainment.

The new Matebook X PRO brilles audio

As has already been said, Huawei Share is planned for at least three laptops. They are: flagship matebook x pro, as well as slightly cheaper Matebook 14 and 13.

Matebook X Pro, now called the new Matebook X Pro, is a direct development of the similar model from last year. The device is equipped with a 13.9-inch FullView screen, which has a resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels, brightness equal to 450 rivets, contrast 1500: 1 and apparently 100 %.Covering the SRGB palette.According to official data, the matrix covers as much as 91 percent.laptop flap surface;and indeed with the naked eye you can see the dominance of the display over the minimum border.

In addition, the panel is tactile, thanks to which it supports simple gestures, led by a gesture that allows you to make a screenshot by moving three fingers.

What under the hood?Intel low-voltage processor from the Whiskey Lake family, i.e. Core i7-8565U or Core i5-8265U, as well as up to 16 GB RAM, dedicated graphics NVIDIA GeForce MX250, semiconductor disk for PCI Express and a Wi-Fi network card with a capacity of 1733 Mb/s.

In addition, the company from Shenzhen boasts support for the Thunderbolt 3 interface, including support for external graphics cards, and four speakers in the Dolby Atmos system.

We had the opportunity to test the audio moment of the new Matebook X Pro in a special, acoustically isolated room. This is definitely one of the better -playing computers of this type, and at the same time is only 14.6 mm thick at the widest point.

Surprisingly, it does not affect cooling very negatively. After a moment of experiments with Cinebench R15, the processor clock speed was stabilized at 2.6 GHz;As with the vast majority of competition with an equally slim housing.

Matebook 14 and 13 as a cheaper alternative

Going to Matebook 14 and Matebook 13, these are simply economic versions of the Matebook X Pro with a screen diagonal analogous to the name. The matrix resolution is lower, equal to 2160 x 1440, and the touch is only an optional function.Going further, the network card reaches a more standard 867 Mb/s, the speakers are two, not four, there is a lack of TB 3.

Finally, Matebook 13 appears with an older graphics system, GeForce MX150, or completely without it;only with integral Intel UHD 620.

Of which, in our opinion, it is ordinary Matebooks who have a chance to become laptops for everyone, especially in Poland. The differences in the performance are insignificant; The fact is a completely aluminum body is replaced by a two -part housing, where only the flap and working panel are aluminum, and the bottom of the plastic, but at first glance cheaper models are made as well as the flagship.

Thirteen also has a keyboard hiding system taken from the flagship and an equally solid keyboard in itself. Not only that, each one Matebook from 2019 can boast of a biometric reader sewn in the switch and USB-C 65 charger in.(Matebook 14 and 13 have an additional plus in the form of classic USB type A).

Important differences apply to prices.Matebook 13 will appear in stores first, hence we even know its prices on the Polish market. For the basic version with Core i5, 8 GB RAM, SSD 256 GB and UHD 620 we will pay a very decent 3899 PLN.A similar model with GeForce MX150 costs PLN 4,199, and the highest specification (in addition: Core i7 and SSD 512 GB) was valued at PLN 5299.

Matebook 14 is 100 euros more expensive in each release.Matebook X Pro starts from 1599 euros, i.e. around 6925 PLN, and stretches up to 1999 euros, i.e. nearly 8660 PLN.
