See how to play on PS4 with an iPhone

I've put together a quick guide on how to run the game on our iPhone and PS4. I admit that I did not expect that I would be so positively surprised by this fun, because the pad is a pad, not some smartphones.Learn how to play on PS4 with iPhone

First of all, we need to go to the App Store. There we will find the Remote Play application. It is worth noting here that Apple recommends the use of iPhone 7 and above or iPads from the 7th generation. I don't know how the app works on older models. After installing, run the apk.

We need to accept the regulations, and then the application will start searching for the console within our WiFi. Here's an important piece of information - a fairly strong connection is recommended, because the app may break the connection (don't worry, the game will then be paused).

Once the apk finds our console automatically (you can also use a manual connection), we'll have to sign in to PSN with your login and password. Our devices will be paired and from now on we can control the PS4 using the app.

The buttons are placed on the screen, similar to our Dualshock controller. It is worth rotating the screen here and using the widescreen version, because everything is then more readable.

In the vertical version, the gameplay view alone takes up 30% of the entire screen, which makes it hard to read (and I tested it on the iPhone 8 Plus). On the other hand - with this version we still have visible buttons. In the widescreen version, to see the buttons, we have to touch the screen, because after a while the buttons disappear.

During gameplay, both screens work synchronously. Unfortunately, during such a connection, we can't control the Dualshock and have an image on the phone screen, but that's probably not what we want, since we want to play on the phone. Unfortunately, I found (so far) two disadvantages: first of all, I don't see an option to disconnect from the game, other than closing the application or turning off the PS4. The second issue, but more subjective, because it depends on the connection are lags, insignificant, but they are there.

After a few hours of testing, I find the gameplay very enjoyable and meets my expectations. Of course, this is not a replacement for playing on a 50-inch TV, but it is somewhat different from the standard gameplay.
