Back tapping is an interesting option in iOS 14

One of the new features in iOS 14 is the handy Back Tap feature. By tapping on the back of the phone, you can trigger the previously assigned action. This feature has been working since iPhone X (and newer).

To enable this option, go to Settings, Accessibility, Touch and Back Tap respectively. Here you can assign an action to double-tap and triple-tap.

The actions include the possibility of taking a screenshot, locking the screen, increasing the volume, activating previously prepared Shortcuts, and using the Accessibility option. You can also use the scrolling option (down / up).

Personally, I use two options. Double tapping creates a screenshot, while triple tapping turns off / on the sound on the iPhone.

It should be added that this function also works when we have a case on. This applies to both Apple accessories and other manufacturers, including UAG.
