The ability to record calls is one of the basic functions of a smartphone for many people. Android 9 or newer does not have this option anymore. All because it is illegal in many countries. In addition, new versions of the system often have the problem that third-party call recording applications often cannot be installed on them. Android Pie is no different.

Huawei (and Honor) are here to help. In the latest version of the EMUI interface, marked with the symbol 9.1, the call recording option is available at the factory, without the need to install additional software. This is not the end, however. As you know, EMUI 9.1 is still reserved only for the latest smartphones, so what about the owners of version 9.0? You just need to download an additional .apk file and install it. The link to the application is on the XDA Developers website.
