How to send MMS to friends. We explain what to do to upload photos and what to be careful not to be surprised by the costs.

Holidays and New Years are the times when we contact our family and friends especially often. After Christmas, we definitely want to share some photos with our loved ones. For smartphone owners, MMS is a very easy way to send photos. MMSs can be especially useful if we want to send a photo to someone, and we do not have this person on the private contact list in applications such as Messenger or WhatsApp.

Before you send the MMS

Before sending someone a message with a photo, remember that our operator requires you to pay for sending them. If your MMS contains more data than usual, you may be billed for multiple messages. Typically, the largest possible size of a message is 300 KB. If you plan to send such messages often, it is worth considering a subscription with unlimited MMSs. Then you will not be surprised with additional charges for messages of larger sizes.

When we are sure that we will not be surprised by the costs of sending MMSs, we can start sending them.

Please note that in order to send or receive such a message, our phone must be connected to the Internet via a mobile network. To do this, go to the phone settings and click the "Mobile data" button.

You can also send MMS without connecting to the mobile network to the internet, but it requires some effort. This is best explained in the following video tutorial:
