In 2022, Samsung plans to produce over 330 million smartphones, including nearly 270 million low and mid-range devices, according to Korean media reports.
The Korean website TheElec.kr has published Samsung's likely production plans for next year regarding smartphones. They show that the company wants more than 330 million such devices to leave factories in 2022. As you can guess, the vast majority of this pool (almost 270 million units) are to be devices from the lower and middle price range. For example, the Korean manufacturer intends to produce 28 million Galaxy A53 (5G), 23 million Galaxy A33 (5G) and 27 million Galaxy A13 models next year.

When it comes to flagships, next year Samsung intends to produce mainly new models, such as the Galaxy S22 series or new "folds". Some competition for the former may be the Galaxy S21 FE, which is expected to finally hit the market at the beginning of next year. According to one of the tipsters, the starting prices of Samsung's smartphones from the Galaxy S22 series will be from 50 to 100 dollars higher than in the case of this year's Galaxy S21 series. Importantly, these devices are said to offer at least 256 GB of storage, and in the case of the Galaxy S22 Ultra model, we will also receive an S Pen stylus, which is to be inside the housing, similar to the Galaxy Note series.
